How to install the tube in your Hydrovest.
Watch the instructional video below and follow the steps below.
-
Step 1
Place the Hydrovest with its back on the ground so that the chest closures are pointing upward. Loosen the upper straps so the tube fits easily between them.
-
Step 2
Only if the tube does not have Velcro strips but handles instead, place the included add-on patch with the Velcro over the Velcro in the vest. This add-on patch keeps the Aquabag from sliding into the Hydrovest.
-
Step 3
Fill the tube with the desired weight of water. More information about the recommended amount of water can be found under
-
Step 4
Pull the tube, with water but without air, under the upper straps so that the tube is in the middle and there is an equal amount of tube on both sides of the vest.
-
Step 5
Once the tube is in the center of the vest, the tube can be inflated with air. The upper straps are divided into two parts. Part 1 is mounted to the vest and to the buckle. Part 2 goes from the buckle to the shoulder strap. At the moment that the tube is inflated you can pull part 1 to fix the tube in the vest. Training styles.
“Be water” by Bruce Lee; he was the first to direct us to the importance of being like water in our movements. incorporates the power of water as a driving force to move better.
InBalance.
Balanced – stay in full control, avoid movement of water and make as little noise possible.
InPact.
Explosive – get hit by the water, create impact and loud noise caused by the sloshing water.
InSync.
Synchronise – be like water, follow the flow and move along with it in a rhythmical way.
Maintenance tips.
- If you plan on keeping the bag/ball filled for a prolonged period (several months). The water inside may become cloudy. To prevent this, add ¼ cup of plain white vinegar per every gallon of water you use in the bag. The natural acidity of the vinegar will help neutralise the alkalinity in the water, assisting in the prevention of water discolouration.
- When not in use, store the bag/ball in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight. Store it away from extreme heat or cold to avoid melting the plastic or frozen water.
- Although our products are tough to handle we do not recommend that they are used for slamming or throwing exercises. Unleash your frustration on other products.
- Before using your bag in an unfamiliar area or outdoors, inspect your surroundings for nails, broken glass, or other sharp object that may tear or puncture the bag/ball. Failure to follow these directions may result in damage to the bag/ball and leakage.
